This marbleized cornice is paired with a dark bronze stenciled tile pattern and a deep red fantasy woodgrained frame.

This steel fire door leading into an apartment has been grained to match the adjacent entry doors. The walls are glazed in a milk-paint wash. All work is low-VOC for a sensitive client.

The door casing has been marbleized and widened with an extra inch of trompe l'oeil marble painted directly onto the wall. The cornice and corbels are trompe l'oeil as well, painted in metallic paints to create the effect of gilded ornament.
