SERVICES

From soft color washes to rich textures, every architectural surface can be enhanced with a decorative finish treatment to bring out its essential character. Textures can add a play of light and dark across a plane to anchor a surface in space, while a delicate glazed patina can help make harsh surface more intimate. There are multitudes of ways to use decorative painting to make your project achieve its greatest potential.

Patterns and painted ornament are a mainstay of our craft. We seamlessly combine old-school techniques and ideals with modern equipment to create classically inspired or contemporary artwork that is fully customized for your project. Whether hand drawn or computer cut, our stencils are only the beginning. Years of experience with layout, composition and color development assure you of the finest, most thoughtful results.

Marbleizing and wood graining require a sensitivity to the natural character of wood and stone in balance with a technical mastery of the paint materials being used. In this example, a simple door frame is embellished with a trompe l'oeil pediment painted directly on the glazed wall surrounding the door. Both are marbleized, and then additional detail is added to create the dimensional effect. Visit the photo gallery to see the final effect.

Custom finishes on furniture are often the final link that unites a space into a single harmonic unity, where all elements of that space work hand-in-hand to create the atmosphere of refinement you desire. Paint colors, glazes and patinas, and hand painted detail all fine tuned to integrate with your style.

Master copies, Impressionist landscapes, or New England folk art, murals serve to open up landscapes in your home or  bring focus and drama to mundane walls.

All murals are developed in collaboration with the homeowner or interior designer to ensure that the imagery and character of the work is exactly suited to your needs.

These unusual textured cabinets were finished in close cooperation with the fabricator to ensure compatible materials were used throughout for a durable and long-lasting result. The client worked closely with us to establish just the right color balance and depth of texture for her kitchen.
