2016 Sourcebook

 

The cover of the annual Resource Guide for Luxury Design and Fine Interiors features the second publication this summer of this project we painted for Mary Drysdale. This article focuses on the Living Room and provides some very nice details of our stencilling.

This project for designer Mary Drysdale features her signature strong architecture with subtle glazed finishes and whitewashed and stencilled floors. We are pleased that this premium project has been featured in two magazines this year.

From late 2007 deep into the first half of 2008, Rising Tide worked on the Marwood Estate outside of Washington DC under the direction of internationally know designer Mary Douglas Drysdale. We were honored and pleased to collaborate with her on this once-in-a-lifetime project. The article and photographs published in Veranda magazine are reprinted here.

We worked on this Capitol Hill rowhouse for Mary Douglas Drysdale in several phases - first the kitchen and breakfast room, then the checkerboard floor, and finally the fabulous hand-painted lime green furniture suite.

And believe it or don't - while I was leafing through the above issue I came across a second article that featured a modest appearance of Rising Tide's work for DC designer Whitney Stewart.
